This time i will talk about very big thing! i mean everybody uses it and everybody knows it.It is P2P networks.It includes all kinds of softwares which allows sharing files with others. Torrent clients,kazza,eDonkey,Ares and many more.Today mostly people use Torrents.I have used kazaa,eDonkey and now i am using uTorrent.Kazza has different network.eDonkey works with Guntella(something liek that).But torrent gives maximum speed.

Whatever thing you are using, but i suggest to use torrents.And ya, don't download applications which looks suspicious from name or size. say, application you found in kazza search has name 'NORTON ANTIVIRUS' and size is say @MB or 1 to 500 KB or so then you should understand that Norton is a big thing, then how can it be of such small size?got it? Also some people give it name like its a porn game or video,but actually it may be a virus/trojan/spyware/malware!so, you can be easily infected.so update your antivirus first and then download.Now antiviruses can catch current downloding files also.So you can be safe!
Don't store on you Hard drives!
yes. You download something and let it be there on your HDD.In a very less time your PC will be full of trash data(yes i am right.because when Internet is unlimited,people download everything they see and make their PCs like a trashbag or dustbin).And its performance degrades.So please use some backup options.Best thing to use is DVD.Yes, you can DVDs in very less amount and store all your important data in that.put a list in PC of all DVDs so you can easily find what is in which one.
Now its about speed!
yes, torrents give more speed but, you should see its performance.keep in mind some thing about it.
1.Seeder - who holds/shares(or you can say allows you to download from their PC) torrent files for other users.
2.leecher - who downloads torrent files.
so check if the torrent has more seeders.And also see how many users have completed it,from how much time it is up,maxmimum speed(bandwidth) etc.Then just download the .torrent file and load it in your torrent client.
you can download movies,CD/DVD images/applications of many open source/freeware projects,pirated stuff(but should not download it perticularly in apps!)etc.But use everything in limits.After all,it should not be your addiction.Enjoy!Leave your comments about p2p softwares.
